We are looking for a few experienced Cypress Test Automation Engineers to join our quality assurance team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our web applications by designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests using Cypress. You will work closely with our development and QA teams to drive test automation best practices and help deliver high-quality software.

Responsibility

• Collaborate with the development and QA teams to understand project requirements and design effective test strategies.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.io for web applications.

• Execute and analyze test results, identify and report defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing aligns with business objectives.

• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and best practices.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.

• Strong proficiency in Cypress.io for web application testing.

• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 2/3 year(s) of relevant experience in automated testing.

Additional Requirements

• Good understanding of SDLC, Software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Experienced with Agile Development Process.

• Experience on different project management tools (JIRA).

• Must have experience on UI automation frameworks (Cypress / Selenium Web Driver).

• Experience on API Automation framework.

• Experience on Performance testing tool (Gatling/ JMeter).

• Knowledge of OOP, JavaScript, Typescript, Node.js & HTML/CSS.

• Experience with any relational database (Preferably Oracle RDBMS).

• Basic knowledge on source control (git, bitbucket).
